The SQLintersection conference is taking place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the week of Hallowe'en (October 27th – 31st). While much of the hubbub this time of year surrounds the PASS Global Summit, I'm looking forward to SQLintersection for these reasons:
- Dozens of sessions from some of my favorite peers and idols in the SQL Server community;
- SQL Sentry is a diamond sponsor and we will be showcasing our new AlwaysOn Management feature; and,
- I always have a good mix of fun and learning at these events – especially since there is a mix of other disciplines involved in the conference at large (ASP.NET, Visual Studio, Azure, SharePoint…).
I'll be giving these sessions, two of them with my friend and co-worker Kevin Kline:
- An Intro to AlwaysOn Availability Groups
- 10 Query Tuning Techniques Every SQL Programmer Should Know (with Kevin)
- Management Studio Tips & Tricks
- Keynote: Monitoring and Performance Tuning for AlwaysOn (with Kevin)
